Today I present to you a special comic in honor of my good friend's 20th birthday, Tyler Cruey. From the beginning, Tyler has shown me a great amount of personal support by creating comics known as "Destroyo Mateo!" and threatening to take down Palindrome with his own batch of hilarious comics, all of which focus on destroying me. This "Destroyo Mateo" is based on the actual event when Tyler, some friends, and I visited the local burrito restaurant Burrito Loco. This happened to be only like our second or third trip to Burrito Loco, so Tyler and I had no idea the mystic and great powers of their exotic sauces. So when I ordered my burrito and the burrito maker asked "what kind of sauce do you want?" I immediately answered "the hottest you have." The burrito man then asked "the loco sauce?" To which I arrogantly answered "yes, of course." However, I did not realize the fierce power contained within the fiery iridescence of the Loco Sauce. The rest of the story can be interpreted in the second panel of the comic. (Hint: there was a lot of freaking out, burning esophaguses, cold sweats, and a great period of pain and a loco sauce induced intoxication.) So Happy Birthday Tyler, thanks for the comic, and enjoy. -Matt Kuehl This is the fanart from Roz at These Days This is the fanart from Capitan G at Talent Optional |
